The FINA-RET project objective
is to identify, develop and package financing
products (i.e. loans, funding and awarding programmes)
addressed mainly to individuals and SMEs that
wish to invest on RE and EE technologies in
order to meet their energy needs and increase their
energy performance. More specifically, FINA-RET
project aims at:

formulating and packaging of sustainable,
flexible and easy to access financing products addressing
investments on small-scale RE & EE technologies
applications, |

grouping RE & EE technologies
based on their investment requirements' characteristics, |

identify critical success and failure
factors for an effective promotion strategy, of
the developed financing products and therefore of
RE and EE technologies market penetration, |

providing insight to policy makers
on non-technological problems and barriers related
to small-scale RE & EE technologies applications
and |
|
-
|
disseminating the project results
at the maximum extent both within the Member States
and world wide.

To achieve the above a systematic approach of designing
the financing product under consideration has been identified.
This approach emphasize on the elicitation of the user
requirements and characteristics of the financing products,
while takes under consideration the characteristics
of the environment within which the financing products
will be developed in order to secure the efficiency
and effectiveness of these financing products for all
parties involved in their development, supply, distribution
and consumption.
